Name: Belle
Movie: Beauty and the Beast

Belle holds the number one spot in the Ladies Room because I can connect with and adore her character. I love to read, dream and imagine. I despise the "Gaston" men of life. Belle doesn't sell herself out - she waits for her dreams to come true. She's also extremely pretty and has a beautiful voice.

Name: Hikaru Shidou
Anime: Magic Knight Rayearth

Hikaru is the youngest of the three knights summoned to Cephiro from Earth, but she's also the strongest of heart and deeply loves the alternate universe she must save. I loved her courage, her ability to have fun and her cheerful attitude. During the second season of Rayearth, her strength was really incredible, and the fact that she battles with her darker personna is so realistic. I can somehow relate to how Hikaru feels when Nova beats her up for what she did in the past. But, Hikaru overcomes that, and that's what I really like about her.

Name: Lina Inverse
Anime: The Slayers

Lina is short-tempered, short-statured, and doesn't have a lot of cleavage. But I love her character. Aside from eating, treasure-hunting, and beating up on one or all of the other Slayers, she has a heart of gold and a soft side. Underneath the brash cover-up, Lina's human, and that's exactly what I love about her. She's more human than any other girl on this page to me.

Name: Lucrezia Noin
Anime: Gundam Wing, Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz

Noin is my favorite GW girl. Not only does she have Zechs, but she cares more about her relationship with him than the war, politics and various organizations running around the anime. Plus, she's pretty, she's a great fighter, and she stands up for what she believes in.

Name: Filia Ul Copt
Anime: The Slayers Try

Filia's pretty, she's got a slight temper, she gets embarrassed easily, and she tries her best to stay focused on her mission and often gets sidetracked. But that's not really why I like her - it's just a part of why. Filia grew on me when she learned the truth behind her race, and when she stood up against that truth and realized she and her people were wrong. Filia didn't want to keep living a lie. She took it upon herself to change her path.

Name: Misao Makimachi
Anime: Rurouni Kenshin

I like Misao's spunky character, her ninja skills are great, and she doesn't give up on the man she loves. Even IF he's an emotionless, clueless male.

Favorite Quote: "Don’t just stand there and talk to me like you know it all! You’re a big knucklehead! You’re telling me to forget Lord Aoshi?! The reason I’m searching for him is because there is no way I can forget about him! How is forgetting about the one person I care about the most in the entire world suppose to ever make me happy?!"




Name: Umi Ryuuzaki
Anime: Magic Knight Rayearth

I first hated Umi. Her attitude, whiny brat-like personality and all of that got on my nerves to no end. However, by the end of Rayearth, I really liked her. She changed from a whining schoolgirl to a young lady who cared for her friends and Cephiro. And she's really very pretty with her long blue hair and shining eyes.

Name: Kagome Higurashi
Anime: Inu-Yasha, A Feudal Fairytale

Kagome is one of the few "schoolgirl" heroines I actually like. Unlike some, she doesn't whine, complain or yell her significant other's name out at random. She takes her task of saving ancient Japan with maturity and deals with Inu-Yasha better than most girls could.

Name: Colette
Manga: Ratatouille

Colette is beautiful, fiesty, sharp-tongued and strong-willed. She has worked her way up the ladder in a man's world and is scared of losing what she's worked so hard for. But she falls in love, and Colette cares very deeply for Linguini. Her life is an emotional rollercoaster, yet she never whines or gets teary like some girls. She takes it in stride. I adore her strong personality.

Favorite Quote: What is this? Keep your station clear! If meal orders come in, what will happen? Messy stations slow things down, food doesn't go, orders pile up, DISASTER! I will make this easier to remember: keep you station clean... or I WILL KILL YOU!




Name: Kisa Sohma
Anime: Fruits Basket
I just adored little Kisa. She's so sweet. She's proof that kids can be mean and hurt a wonderfully nice person, which happens so much in real life, and she just wants to be accepted...but she also wants to be her own person. She gets stressed out because of school, she has fears and worries, but yet she goes back and tries again. She doesn't lose hope. She keeps standing back up and trying, even though she's so young. I think it's wonderful that they made this character the tiger of the zodiac, because it really proves she has a strong personality beneath the sweet innocence.

Anime: Neon Genesis Evangelion

Misato seems an optamistic person who has a tragic past and lives beyond that. I love her cheerful attitude and her looks. And she's so kinky and fun!

Name: Princess Jasmine
Movie: Aladdin

I didn't care for Aladdin very much, but I did love Jasmine. Not only is she beautiful, but she can hold her own and has a fiery temper. I really liked that about her.

Movie: Mulan

Mulan proves that not all girls are suited to be perfect housewives, brides or mothers. She follows her own path and comes out on top, she's not afraid to fight for what she believes in. She's also intelligent.

Name: Cinderella
Movie: Cinderella

Cinderella doesn't fight, argue or show off strength (other than her heart). Every girl needs a princess to look up to, and Cinderella is my favorite Disney princess.

Name: Esmeralda
Movie: The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Resourceful, talented, cunning, and womanly! I liked Esmeralda's inner strength and resistance, not to mention her compassion and caring for those like her. Plus she's gorgeous.

Favorite Quote: "I ask for nothing, I can get by. But I know so many less lucky than I."




Name: Megara ("Meg")
Movie: Hercules

Megara is sassy, sarcastic, cynical, realistic. She's gorgeous and slinky. She's been hurt and doesn't believe in love, but finds out that nice guys really do exist. I love that.

Favorite Quote: "You know men. They think 'No' means 'Yes' and 'Get lost' means 'Take me I'm yours!'."




Name: Saki Hanajima
Anime: Fruits Basket

There is something to be said for a girl who can electrically shock people she dislikes. Her gothic style is interesting, and the fact that she can't run three steps in PE is SO me. However, what made me really like her as a character was her final scene in the series. She was absolutely amazing and it broke my heart.

Name: Juri
Anime: Revolutionary Girl Utena

At first, I hated Juri. I thought she was cruel and mean, and I didn't understand her at all. But by the end of the series, I really started to like her. She changed. She grew, she evolved, and though she still has some of the bitterness deep inside, who wouldn't after what she went through? She's such a strong person, and yet so vulnerable. I admire her for what she went through, and for how she deals with it.

Name: Helga Sinclair
Movie: Atlantis: The Lost Empire

Helga is one of the few villianesses in my harem, but I loved her looks, her attitude and her coldness. Her deadpan lines were great, and she's not a push-over.

Name: Anya, Anastasia
Movie: Anastasia

I can't help but like Anya, a girl who wants to find her family and a home, who wants to leave the drudgery of her life. It is so incredibly hard to start a journey where the end is unseen. Not only is she strong, but she falls in love, and acts very human. I was so happy when she got Dimitri at the end.

Favorite Quote: "Do you really think I'm royalty? Then stop bossing me around!"




Name: Utena Tenjou
Anime: Revolutionary Girl Utena

At first I liked Utena because she was so laid-back, unique and independent. She wore a boy's uniform and sassed her teachers. She stood up for Anthy and befriended unusual people. By the end of the anime though, I liked Utena because of her strength, her determination, and her willingness to an unknown, horrible fate, just to save Anthy.

Favorite Quote: "Anthy, enough with all this engaged stuff. Despite appearances, I'm a perfectly normal girl. I don't want a bride. All I want is a totally normal guy."




Name: Makoto Kino, Sailor Jupiter
Anime: Sailor Moon

Makoto is beautiful with her swirling brown hair and emerald eyes; tall, stormy and always determined. She can dress up or down, look feminine or tomboyish, and always look great. As Sailor Jupiter, she's a true fighter, with a little brashness and a "let's get it on" attitude that's always fun to watch in action.

Name: Rei Hino, Sailor Mars
Anime: Sailor Moon

Mars is also a beautiful girl, with her long black hair and lithe body. I love how she spats with Usagi all the time, yet is in truth the warrior closest to Sailor Moon in the worst of times. I love the way she uses her powers, always fiery and concentrated. And her temper is fun, too.

Favorite Quote: "If I didn't like her, I wouldn't be holding something this important for her!"

Show: Kim Possible

Shego is deliciously evil, and has a perfect blend of sarcastic and cynicism. Her personality is a nice change from perky or cheerful or outgoing or sweet. And her hair is gorgeous.

Name: Minako Aino, Sailor Venus
Anime: Sailor Moon

Minako is such a beautiful girl, with all that long golden hair and such a sweet expression. She's always kind and nice, and her attacks as Sailor Venus are just as beautiful as she is. I love how she always seems to sparkle as a warrior.

Name: Motoko Aoyama
Anime: Love Hina

Motoko is such a strong character, very independent and confident, but with a twinge of sadness about her. I really enjoy watching her draw her sword and attacking...just about anything, actually.

Name: Naru Narusegawa
Anime: Love Hina

Naru's very pretty, and has a fun attitude, too. Sometimes she's furious and mean, other times she's sweet and nice. A typical girl. I love watching her interact with Keitaro.
